In silencing the noises and clearing the mind, the heart embraces the beauty of nature and all her inhabitants. The miracle of changing seasons, the mating rituals, the beginning and ending life cycle, the vocal messages echoing through the trees, the smells carried on the wind, and from the first peek of the sun stretching across the sky to its final wink as it disappears are all proof that life truly is a spiritual journey. I invite you to share in my photo adventures and I hope they serve as reminders of the mystery and magic all around us.

Tell It Like It Is

Having become accustomed to the habits and social skills of some of the species
I photograph, I shall lend my vivid imagination to verbalize the content
based upon the interactions preceding the click of the camera.
"Get outta my way!"
"Mom said to share!"
(It's kind of hard to see, but the lead gull is carrying food in it's mouth.)
"Kids, I said get over here...NOW!"
"If you think your honk is louder than mine...prove it!"
"Wanna rendezvous at sunset?!"
"I am soooooooooooooooooo bored!"
"Hey, I can see up your nose!"
"I think it's my nap time!"
"No, that's NOT a tear falling from my eye!"
"Do you mind! We're trying to have a private conversation here."
"Hey, that's my foot!"
"Wait up, y'all!  I wanna go, too!"
"Don't EVEN think about it! This horse-shoe crab is ALL mine!"
"Last one in is a smelly fish!"
"Geez...are mom and dad deaf?  We're starvin' here!"
"Hold on...I'm breadin' your catfish with sand, just like you like it!"
"Enough already. Don't you have anything better to do?!"
My answer "Yes, lots to do, but no...nothing better!"
I hope you can find time to enjoy the beauty and wonder of nature and wildlife...
with OR without a camera.  Thanks for joining me.
